The Covid-19 vaccine is no longer recommended for healthy children or pregnant women, says Robert F. Kennedy Jr. of HHS.

WASHINGTON – According to the CDC’s latest vaccination schedule, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention still recommends COVID vaccines for healthy children.
The schedule, issued by the public health agency on May 29, said earlier this week that Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Secretary of Health and Human Services, along with the head of the FDA and NIH-, will stop recommending the daily COVID-19 vaccine to healthy children and pregnant women.
According to new guidance, parents who want to vaccinate their children due to the coronavirus may “have the possibility of receiving a Covid-19 vaccine notified by the provider’s clinical judgment and clinical judgment of their personal preferences and circumstances.”
Kennedy Jr., FDA Commissioner Marty McCurry and NIH director Jay Batacharya said in the video that the shots have been removed from the CDC’s recommended vaccination schedule.
The CDC had previously recommended an updated Covid vaccine to everyone over six months following a panel of external experts, but the current recommendations are consistent with those previously made.
“The CDC and HHS encourage individuals to talk to healthcare providers about medical decisions,” HHS spokesman Andrew Nixon said in an email to the Washington Post.
“If parents want to vaccinate healthy children, or pregnant women want to receive the vaccine, their decision should be based on informed consent through the clinical judgment of the provider,” Nixon said.
