Verde, 23, knocked down Akale two minutes after the fight with his left and two rights.
The experienced 37-year-old Akure continued to endure the punishment and rose to his feet. However, the onslaught was far too great for the judge. The judge stopped the fight at 1:11 in the fourth round when Verde deliberately lumped on another left.
“Oh my God,” cried Accel as the judge stopped the fight. “What are you doing?”
It seemed to do the right thing when Akale bleed from her mouth and was connected with about 10% of his punches.
Verde improved to 3-0, while Akale fell to 9-4.
