Try the new Bubly’s ‘Super Mario’ flavor on USA TODAY
Bubbly’s new cans feature characters from the “Super Mario” universe and new flavors including “Meteor Melon,” “Cosmic Swirl,” and “Dragon Fruit Stardust.”
Sparkling water brand Bubly is coming out with three new flavors.
On Monday, February 23rd, Bubbly launched a new sparkling water collection in collaboration with “Super Mario Galaxy Movie,” which will be released in theaters on April 1st. Cosmic Swirl, Dragon Fruit Stardust, and Meteor Melon flavors recreate the space theme of the movie and the video game it is based on. The can features the “Super Mario Galaxy Movie” logo and Lumas, the star-shaped character that appears in the game.
In addition to the three new flavors, Bubbly will offer interactive activities ahead of the release of “Super Mario Galaxy Movie.” Each can of movie-themed soda contains a scannable code that unlocks a varying number of star bits, or collectible items within the video game. The news release states that the cans contain between 1 and 5,000 Star Bits, which can unlock movie tickets and exclusive movie merchandise. Starbit rewards are available until May 8th.
“Super Mario Galaxy Movie” follows the widely successful “Super Mario Bros. Movie,” which was released in 2023 and featured voice actors Chris Pratt as Mario, Jack Black as Bowser, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Prince Peach, and Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong.

Special Rosaline cans eligible for NASA giveaways
To celebrate the new sparkling waters, Bubbly is hosting a Galactic Mission giveaway that includes an all-expenses-paid trip to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Merritt, Florida.
To qualify, consumers 18 years of age or older must purchase an 8-pack of specialty cans. Of all the cans produced, 50 are Galaxy cans, which include the video game character Rosalina. Each can contains a unique code to qualify for a giveaway. The giveaway period is from March 2nd to May 8th.
