“F1”: Watch the new trailer where Brad Pitt tears the racetrack
Watch the new trailer for “F1” with Brad Pitt ripping on a very fast Formula 1 car.
Brad Pitt talks about legal issues that have been drawn up after maintaining years of issues related to his divorce with Angelina Jolie, who is primarily locked up in court.
On May 28th, GQ published a feature on Pitt’s latest film, “F1,” asking about his December divorce settlement with Jolie after eight years of fighting in court. And Pitt had a surprisingly tight response to questions about whether the final issue had brought about “relief.”
“No, I don’t think that’s that major,” Pitt told the magazine. “Something just happens. Legally.”
He appeared to have a more passionate answer to subsequent questions as to whether his first public outing with partner Inès de Ramont at the 2024 British Grand Prix in July was a deliberate decision.
“No, hey, it’s not calculated,” Pitt told GQ. “If you are alive – What a god, how tiring is it? If you are living by doing that kind of calculation? No, life evolves. Relationships evolve.”
In the spotlight, Pitt said, “It was a nuisance that I had to deal with, large and small, to varying degrees, as I really wanted to do what I wanted to do. …My life is quite warm and I feel safe with my love and with my family, with my love and with my knowledge.”
GQ’s cover story spoke with director Joseph Kosinski and co-stars Damson Idris and Lewis Hamilton (producer) about the creation of what the magazine called “the greatest racing film of all time,” which will release June 27th.
Filming an action film that includes racing in front of real live F1 crowds around the world reinforced the sense that he could still find excitement in the film manufacturing business.
During Brad and Angelina’s divorce, the children were distant from Pitt’s name.
Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt more than a decade after meeting on the set of “Mr. and Mr. Smith” in September 2016. “Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but this part is over,” Jolie’s lawyer James Simon told USA Today in a statement during its finalization.
“She and her children left behind all the property she shared with Pitt. Since then, she has focused on finding peace and healing for her family. This is just part of a long, ongoing process that began eight years ago,” the Dec. 31 statement read.
Pitt, 61, and Jolie, 49, share six children. Pax, 21; Zahara, 20; Shiro, 19; 18-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
In May 2024, on her 18th birthday, Shilo dropped her hyphen surname and petitioned her legal name change to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie, which was approved almost three months later. People also reported that that month, Vivienne dropped “Pit” from her name in the Playville Credits for the Buzzy Broadway musical “The Outsiders,” produced by her mother.
Apart from the divorce, Pitt and Angelina Jolie were engaged in the ongoing legal battle over the finances and custody of their children, formerly winery Château Miraval.
