According to a release from the US Food and Drug Administration, the popular vegan mac and cheese makers recall two products containing undeclared milk and nuts.
In a September 10 notification, Gooder Foods Inc. announced that it will recall some of its Goodle boxed mac and cheese after eight people reported allergic reactions related to the two flavors. The company said that “vegans are believed” plant-based white cheddar products may contain milk, while “truffles here” truffles flavored pasta may contain cashews.
Those who are allergic or severely susceptible to milk and/or cashews may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions when consuming these products, the notice said.
Which products are included in the recall?
Gooder Foods recalls three lots of plant-based Cheddar flavors and truffle mac and cheese produced between April 7-15, 2025. The affected products will be distributed nationwide to wholesalers and operators nationwide from April 29th to August 5th and sold online.
The company said six allergic reactions have been reported in connection with Goodles’ “Here Comes Truffle” and six of the two allergic reactions reported in connection with “Vegan Is Felievin’.”
