Days after federal agents shot and killed Renee Good, we asked our readers for their thoughts on the case and, by extension, the way Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents operate in Minnesota.
It feels like forever ago, but that shooting happened on January 7th. It’s been less than a month. This is the second murder committed by a U.S. Border Patrol agent. Alex Preti was shot and killed by agents on January 24th.
So we would like to hear from you again two days after that shooting.
Specifically, we’re asking whether your opinion has changed at all in the wake of the second shooting. Perhaps even after the first killing, he wholeheartedly supported the work of federal agents in Minnesota because they were cooperating with border security. Perhaps you saw the first fatal shooting as evidence that the agents had no business interacting with Americans or invading cities.
