As Bojangles prepares to open 18 new stores in eight states by the end of 2025 and plans to expand into major markets in New York, New Jersey, Nevada, Ohio and California, the time is coming for more chicken lovers across the country.
Bojangles currently operates 850 stores in 20 states and plans to expand to more than 1,000 stores over the next few years, according to the Charlotte, North Carolina-based company. Thirty locations will open in 2025 alone, with another 18 scheduled to open by the end of the year.
“This is already a milestone year for Bojangles, and we’re just getting started,” Bojangles CEO Jose Almario said in a statement to USA TODAY.
Of the 18 store openings planned by the end of the year, six will be in new markets for the fast-food chain, Bojangles said.
“Our growth into markets such as New York City, Phoenix and California demonstrates the strength of our brand and the demand for bold Southern flavors across the United States,” said Almario. “The momentum for Bojangles is real and we are committed to steadily executing on our mission to expand nationwide.”
