Starbucks is teasing the return of its much-talked-about Bearista cold cup on Monday, December 8th, but hasn’t revealed many details.

On Sunday, Nov. 7, Starbucks posted a video on Instagram featuring the sold-out Bearista Cups that people were trying to get their hands on.

“The opportunity is now in the Starbucks app. Tomorrow, December 8th,” the coffee house chain said.

USA TODAY staff checked the Starbucks app on Dec. 8 and found no further information about the cup was available as of 6 a.m. ET.

USA TODAY reached out to Starbucks for more information.

What is Starbucks Bearista Cold Cup?

The “Bearista” cup is a 20 oz glass cup in the shape of a bear. The lid looks like a green beanie and holds a Starbucks cup with the chain’s logo.

The cups went on sale on Thursday, Nov. 6, the same day Starbucks announced its holiday menu, and quickly sold out.

The cup is now being resold online for hundreds of dollars, USA TODAY previously reported.

Will Starbucks Bearista Cold Cup be restocked?

It’s unclear if Starbucks will restock the Bearista Cold Cup or if it’s part of a larger promotion. USA TODAY reached out to Starbucks for more information.

In a previous statement in November, the chain confirmed that the Bearista Cup had sold out.

“Excitement about our product has exceeded even our highest expectations, and even though we shipped more Bearista Cups to coffeehouses than almost any other product this holiday season, the Bearista Cup and several other products quickly sold out,” Starbucks said in a statement.
