Disney princess cheers up surprised girl in hospital
The Princess Program Foundation makes a little girl’s day by having Belle and Ariel surprise her while she’s in the hospital.
Bath & Body Works is making every Disney fan’s dreams come true with a new line of princess-inspired products.
The brand’s upcoming Disney Princess collection features new and returning fan-favorite fragrances and is inspired by “the captivating stories of six Disney Princess characters: Aurora, Belle, Mulan, Rapunzel, Snow White and Tiana.”
“Combining Disney’s magical storytelling with Bath & Body Works’ signature craftsmanship, this collection invites fans to step into the enchanting world of their favorite Disney characters through scent in a uniquely evocative way that only Bath & Body Works can offer,” the company said in a news release.
“This collaboration marks a special moment in our continued journey to weave the stories of Disney Princesses into everyday life by celebrating some of the most beloved and fan-favorite characters in a unique way,” Liz Shortreed, Disney’s senior vice president of consumer products, told USA TODAY in a statement.
Products in the collection range from body care options such as fine fragrance mists and body lotions to three-wick candles and wallflowers.
In an exclusive conversation with USA TODAY, Bath & Body Works SVP of Merchandising Christy Lewis said the collaboration, which took more than a year to complete and went through multiple rounds of testing, was an exciting moment to bring together two “beloved” brands.
Lewis said the brands wanted to “protect the authenticity” of their characters while “respecting the individuality of the princesses in a way that people and fans can relate to.” The executive added that each princess was chosen after “deep listening” to customer preferences.
Bath & Body Works Disney Princess Collection Fragrances
Bath & Body Works’ Disney Princess Collection includes six fragrances, two of which are back by popular demand.
Lewis said each fragrance aims to “really encapsulate the characters” by reflecting their stories.
According to Bath & Body Works, fragrances in the Disney Princess Collection include:
- Aurora: Inspired by Aurora’s “elegance, playfulness, and optimistic nature,” this fragrance features soft rose petals and sandalwood, finished with a touch of shimmering fairy dust.
- Mulan: Magnolia flowers and sparkling apricots meet intense aquatic freshness in this scent that “reflects Mulan’s spirit of courage, passion and determination.”
- Rapunzel: Sparkling sundrop flowers and rich nectar wrapped in golden musk evoke Rapunzel’s vibrant and optimistic personality in this fragrance.
- Bell: Rose petals, sparkling buttercups, and whipped vanilla for those seeking beauty and adventure.
- snow white: Set against the backdrop of an enchanted forest, mysterious red apples and ripe fruit create a scent as enchanting and whimsical as Snow White.
- Tiana: Golden amber accented with delicate water lilies and shimmering bayou woods provides a harmonious blend of fruity and floral elements, evoking dreams of fulfillment in the heart of the bayou.
- life is a fairy tale: A blend of enchanting berries, whimsical floral notes, and the warmth of a kingdom forest that promises eternal happiness. According to Lewis, the scent is “actually created with notes from each princess” and represents “the empowerment of these amazing female characters coming together.”

Lewis teased that each product in the collection includes “a little Easter egg about each princess.”

For example, the Snow White-themed product “has tiny little apples planted throughout the pattern,” Lewis confirmed.
“It’s not overt, but it’s an Easter egg, a nod to her story,” she added.
