“For four years, these players have been doing extraordinary things,” he said at a pre-game press conference.
“What happened last week doesn’t erase all the work we did. We made it this far, it was an exciting season. And while we could have done better in the last few games, we’re competing for these goals here in four years.
“When you’re about to make the Champions League semi-finals, it’s not the toughest moment, there’s a lot of enthusiasm.
“We had a tough week. We need to do more, but we’re excited to play tomorrow’s game with one of the strongest and most attacking teams. We need to make sacrifices and get technically clean.”
