2025 Store Closure: Joan and Jcpenney join Macy’s, Coles
JCPenney and Joann will be shuttering the stores this year. They joined Macy’s and Coles, who announced plans to close the store in recent months.
Four Bahamas Breeze locations suddenly closed this week.
Signs posted on doors at two locations in Florida informed customers that USA Today Network Papers in Gainesville and USA Today Network Papers in Naples reported on May 15th.
A similar situation is unfolding in Memphis and Las Vegas, according to the location’s Facebook page and local media reports, which were published on May 15th.
“This place is closed forever. Please visit the nearby sister location,” read the sign outside the Gainesville location, tweak your guests to visit Olive Garden and Longhorn Steakhouse, a nearby Darden-owned restaurant. “We appreciate your business.”
Naples Daily News reported that the location was closed just 11 months later.
“Closening this restaurant is a difficult business decision and has been carefully and thoughtfully built, especially to affect team members and guests.
“We are doing everything we can to position as many influenced team members as possible at the nearby Darden brand,” the Darden Restaurant told KSNV in Las Vegas.
