Angelina Jolie visits Egypt’s Rafah and Gaza border crossings
Actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie visits a local hospital in Arish, where patients from Egypt’s Rafah Crossing and Gaza are being treated.
Approximately two years after being hospitalized following a bicycle accident, Pax Tien Jolie Pitt, the son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, will make a rare solo appearance.
Jolie Pitt, 22, was spotted attending a screening of her short film Self Custody at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah on January 23rd. The thriller was directed by Fernando Ferro and Garrett Patten and stars Henry Cejudo, Adrian Grenier, and Adley Pearl Jones.
In July 2024, Jolie-Pitt was reportedly hospitalized in Los Angeles after crashing her e-bike into the back of a stopped vehicle in the Los Feliz neighborhood, according to TMZ and the Los Angeles Times. Witnesses to the incident told TMZ at the time that Jolie-Pitt, who was not wearing a helmet, subsequently experienced hip pain and appeared to have sustained a head injury.
At one point during the screening of Self Custody, Jolie-Pitt posed for a group photo with Ferro and Patten. He wore a red and blue flannel shirt, paired with a black T-shirt and a silver pendant necklace.
Two months after her bicycle accident, Jolie-Pitt attended the press tour for her mother Jolie’s films “Without Blood” and “Maria.” At the world premiere of Without Blood at the Toronto International Film Festival, the mother and son duo posed side by side on the red carpet in matching black formal wear.
Jolie-Pitt then attended a screening of Jolie’s psychological drama Maria at the New York Film Festival with brothers Zahara and Maddox.
Jolie-Pitt met her then-partner Pitt while visiting an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in November 2006, and they adopted her in March 2007. Jolie initially applied to adopt the baby as a single parent due to Vietnam’s adoption regulations, but later adopted Pitt as well.
Jolie-Pitt also has an interest in filmmaking and worked as a production assistant on Jolie’s 2024 film Maria. However, unlike his superstar parents, he seems to prefer being behind the camera.
“They don’t like the celebrity part at all,” Jolie said of her children while attending the 2025 Santa Barbara International Film Festival. “In a very sane way of thinking, they don’t, because that’s not normal. It’s really stupid.”
