Thousands of pounds of tuna sold at Costco in more than 30 states under the Kirkland signature brand name, have been replicated in connection with the outbreak tension of Listeria monocytogenerus, which could lead to illness and death.
Western United Fish Company DBA Annasea Foods Group is available for sale in Costco’s Deli Section and recalls the Kirkland Signature Ahi Marsabi Poke, which is close to £3,315 with knowledge of the Food and Drug Administration over the weekend.
Some AHI tuna may contain contaminating strains of Listeria monocytic bacteria that can cause listeriasis and listeria poisoning.
According to the FDA, the recall started after the agent was notified by the Green Onion supplier of the listeria positive test results at Green Onion, which is used by Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke.
“We continue to work with Green Onion suppliers to determine the underlying cause,” the agency wrote in its report on Saturday, September 20th.
