Despite months of speculation surrounding Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers, franchise legend Terry Bradshaw hopes his former team is as far away as possible from the age of 41.
After a difficult two seasons with the Jets in New York, the four-time NFL MVP has fueled offers and speculations since their contract ended. On “The Pat McAfee Show” in April, Rodgers revealed that it takes time to make final decisions while dealing with “personal issues.”
“That’s a joke. For me, it’s a joke. What are you going to do – will you take him for a year? Are you kidding me?
When the radio host stated that he was not a former Green Bay Packers and the New York Jets QB fan, Bradshaw said, “Me and me,” recalling the first time he met Rogers. “You feel like you’re in front of him and it’s about to start snowing,” the four-time Super Bowl winner joked.
Bradshaw also used his appearance on the show to be critical of Kenny Pickett’s treatment of his former team in the 2022 first round draft pick, saying he hasn’t done enough to provide talent and protection to make QB thriving.
“The Steelers drafted Kenny Pickett. I liked Kenny Pickett. I liked him. I liked him.
“You throw kids there for two years. You have attacks that aren’t attacking, you have a bad attack, and you can’t run because their offensive line isn’t even enough for the run blocking team.

Mason Rudolph, drafted by the Steelers in 2018, spent six seasons in Pittsburgh before signing with the Tennessee Titans in the 2024 season. However, he recently signed a two-year contract to return to black and gold.
Rudolph is currently practicing as the first QB to be a signal caller during OTA sessions, but it is assumed that he will become a backup once the season rolls.
During the first OTA session of the spring, Rudolf was asked how he has been dealing with Rogers’ guesses since re-signing with the Steelers.
