Lovebu’s monster dolls are ugly and adorable
A new monster doll is taking the internet by storm. Influencers spend up to $85 on larger Lovebu dolls.
Trinket enthusiasts, brace yourselves. You might not be ready for the latest collaboration from Pop Mart, the official retailer of Labubu products.
International toy company Popmart announced on Friday, March 6th, that it will collaborate with Japanese entertainment company Sanrio to launch a Hello Kitty-themed love bus, which will be sold online starting Thursday, March 12th. The Lovebu doll, which first went viral on social media last year, features a large head with bunny ears, sharp fang-like teeth and fluffy pajamas.
According to a PopMart news release, the collaboration includes Lovebu x Sanrio Characters Series Vinyl Plush Pendant Blind Box – Lovebubu dressed up as various Sanrio characters, including Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, and Pochacco, will be sold in a mystery box.
PopMart also sells a special Hello Kitty vinyl plush toy, Lovebu wearing Hello Kitty-inspired overalls with red and blue accents, and an embroidered sleep mask. The doll also comes with a Hello Kitty pillow accessory.
Over the past year, Pop Mart has released several brand-centric love baths, including Coca-Cola dolls in January 2025 and Vans in July 2025.

When will Hello Kitty’s Love Bath be released?
Sanior Labubus will be available on the Pop Mart website on Thursday, March 12th at 10pm ET.

According to a news release, the Lovebu x Sanrio Characters Series Vinyl Plush Pendant Blind Box will cost $40, and the Lovebu x Hello Kitty Vinyl Plush will cost $150.

How to purchase Hello Kitty Love Bus
The Lovebu x Sanrio Characters Series Lovebu x Hello Kitty Vinyl Plush will be available for purchase on the PopMart website starting Thursday, March 12th at 10pm ET. According to a PopMart news release, the dolls will be sold in stores nationwide starting in April.
