Pizza Hut to close 250 U.S. stores
Pizza Hut announced it will close 250 underperforming U.S. stores in 2026 as part of a strategic review by parent company Yum! brand.
Pizza Hut is taking a step back to simpler times with the introduction of a new value menu.
Starting July 14, the pizza chain will introduce a throwback value menu for a limited time at participating restaurants nationwide, it confirmed in a news release. The menu includes a medium one-topping stuffed crust pizza for $10, a one-topping personal pan pizza for $3, breadsticks for $4, cinnamon sticks for $4, and a two-liter bottle of Pepsi for $3.
Two more items will debut on Pizza Hut’s throwback menu. New $6 Triple Cheese Mac and new $5 S’mores Sticks.
“Some of Pizza Hut’s most iconic menu items have stood the test of time because our fans love them,” Pizza Hut Chief Marketing Officer Melissa Friebe said in a news release.
Pizza Hut unveils new merchandise collection
In addition to the throwback menu, the pizza chain also collaborated with New York City streetwear brand Dinner Service NY to transform “the iconic Pizza Hut uniform, BOOK IT! nostalgia and fan-favorite memorabilia into a limited-edition collection,” the pizza chain said.
The collection includes button-down shirts, camouflage jackets, T-shirts, sweaters, hats and more, and will be available for purchase starting July 16 at 12:00 PM CT on www.dinnerserviceny.com.
Pizza Hut says customers who participate in Hut Rewards will have exclusive early access to the collection starting at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.
