Coca-Cola is set to kick off the 2026 FIFA World Cup with several themed products, and fans across the country are now taking note of soccer ball-shaped bottles appearing in Walmart stores.

The limited-edition bottle reportedly contains 13.5 fluid ounces of regular Coca-Cola and features patriotic red, white, and blue graphics inspired by the upcoming tournament in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Posts on social media showing the bottles stacked in a special World Cup-themed display quickly gained attention online as collectors and soccer fans raced to find the bottles in select Walmart stores.

Coca-Cola has not officially announced a national retail rollout of the bottle, but it could happen as soon as the World Cup starts in June.

USA TODAY has reached out to Coca-Cola for additional information about the bottle, including its release date, how long it will be in stock, and where it will be sold.

Coca-Cola expands promotion for 2026 FIFA World Cup

Coca-Cola, the official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup for nearly 50 years, has already launched several fan-focused campaigns related to the 2026 tournament. The promotion also includes collectible Panini stickers hidden under the labels of specially marked Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar bottles sold in the United States and Canada. The company is also promoting FIFA World Cup-themed collectible glass bottles through the Coca-Cola online store.

Earlier this year, Coca-Cola launched a digital fan hub called Join the Action. This includes the chance to win an official match ball from select World Cup matches and a trip to the FIFA World Cup 26 Winners Trophy Tour this summer.

When is the 2026 FIFA World Cup?

The 2026 FIFA World Cup begins on June 11th in Mexico City with Mexico hosting South Africa. It will be the first World Cup to feature 48 teams, with matches to be played in 16 host cities across North America.

The knockout stage begins June 28, with the final scheduled for July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
