Social media shows off Dunkin’s large iced coffee bucket
The 48-ounce beverage bucket appears to be being tested at some Dunkin’ stores in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Some Dunkin’ fans may be able to add a new coffee item to their bucket list.
According to posts circulating on social media in recent days, 48-ounce beverage buckets are now available at select Dunkin stores.
According to the post, customers who order a bucket can choose which beverage to put inside. Strawberry Dragon Fruit Lemonade Refresher for $9.49, Blueberry Cobbler Iced Latte for $11.49, and Caramel Coco Iced Coffee for $8.89.
By comparison, a large Dunkin iced coffee is 32 ounces.
Dunkin’ has not officially confirmed whether the buckets will be rolled out to all stores, but they are not available nationwide for now.
But if social media is any indication, the chain’s fans are already clamoring for a broader launch. Each of Bucket’s posts, including posts on X and Reels posts on Instagram, have received millions of views to date.
Here’s what we know:
Does Dunkin’ sell iced coffee buckets?
Dunkin’ has not announced whether it will sell iced coffee buckets, but social media experts say it appears to be limited to two New England states.
For now, the buckets appear to be being tested only at select Dunkin’ stores in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
If true, the limited testing area wouldn’t be too surprising considering Dunkin’ started in Quincy, Massachusetts.
Dunkin’ coffee bucket? “Sign up now,” says a fan
Whether or not Dunkin’ Coffee Buckets spread across the country, customers are already embracing them.
“I would rather have a bucket of Dunkin’ coffee than my next paycheck,” one user wrote to X.
Another posted: “Sign up now!!!!”
However, some expressed concerns about the high amount of caffeine in such a large drink.
“Why does everyone drink 48 ounces of coffee in a day?! Why?” one user said on X.
But some people don’t care at all.
“My whole group of friends are debating the 48-ounce buckets from Dunkin’. ‘We don’t drink that.’ ‘Who needs that much?’ ‘It’s probably mostly ice.’ ‘Let’s think about how much sugar is in that.’ Silence. I’d like to carry around a tub of coffee, and if I want, I’ll do it!” User X wrote.
