White House Christmas tree arrives by horse-drawn carriage
First Lady Melania Trump received the White House Christmas tree in a horse-drawn carriage.
Producing and starring in a high-profile documentary about her famous but little-known life was just the beginning for Melania Trump, who is now starting her own production company.
The first lady announced the launch of Muse Films on social media with a short video revealing the official logo.
The company will make its debut with the new film “Melania,” which will be released in U.S. theaters on January 30th and then on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service.
The documentary depicts the former model’s 20 days leading up to her return to the White House following President Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20th.
The film’s logline reads, “Step into Melania Trump’s world as she orchestrates her inauguration plans, navigates the complexities of the White House transition, and returns to public life with her family.” “With exclusive footage of important meetings, private conversations and never-before-seen environments, ‘Melania’ marks Mrs. Trump’s return to one of the world’s most powerful roles.”
‘Rush Hour’ director leads documentary after assault allegation
Melania Trump will serve as executive producer and Brett Ratner (“Rush Hour”) will direct. According to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, the documentary will be produced by Paramount, which is currently developing Rush Hour 4, in which Ratner will be starring alongside Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker.
In 2017, amid the #MeToo movement, six women, including actresses Olivia Munn and Natasha Henstridge, accused Mr. Ratner of sexual harassment and assault. A fourth film was put on hold.
According to Semaphore, the green light for “Rush Hour 4” was given in response to a specific request from President Trump.
The Trump administration’s Federal Communications Commission recently approved an $8 billion merger between Paramount Global and Skydance Media. The new chairman and CEO is David Ellison, the son of Larry Ellison, a close ally of President Trump.
