Some toddler play yards sold on Amazon have been recalled because they pose an entrapment hazard and pose a risk of serious injury or suffocation.

The play yards, which were sold on Amazon in March for $100 to $110, were recalled on Nov. 20, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. According to the CPSC, the product features “mesh panels with black fabric sides and gray trim,” and the top rail is “covered in white fabric with a multicolored print of a bear’s face, paws, and the word ‘Bear.'” A mattress with the same bear print is also part of the product.

About 70 units in the play yard have been sold, according to the CPSC.

“Playards violate mandatory playard standards,” the CPSC said, adding that “young children can become trapped under the mattress or between the sides of the playard and the mattress, creating a risk of serious injury or death from suffocation.”

No injuries were reported, but the company urged consumers to immediately stop using the Chinese-made play yards and follow instructions for disassembly and destruction.

What play yard models inspired you?

This playard, sold by China’s Guangzhou Tinger Trading Co., Ltd., doing business as Anna Queen, has the model number “P700” and manufacturing date “202503” on the packaging and on the removable tag that comes with the playard.

What should I do if I purchased an affected product?

Anyone who purchased an affected play yard should immediately stop using it, disassemble it, and contact Anna Queen for a full refund. The product recall number on CPSC is 26-099.

The CPSC said consumers should “before discarding a destroyed playard, disassemble the fabric cover from the playard frame, cut out the cover and mattress pad, and email a photo of the destroyed playard to tingerservice@outlook.com for a full refund.”
