Former President Donald Trump said in his election night victory speech that Robert Kennedy Jr. would add “to make America healthy again” and “we will have a good time.”

WASHINGTON – Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he hadn’t run for president in 2028 and intends to remain in his position until President Donald Trump takes office.
The leader of the “Make America Healthy” movement said in the X-Post that his “loyalty” was lying to Trump, and he dismissed speculation about his political future as part of a “smear campaign” from disgruntled Washington insiders opposed Maher’s agenda.
“They are pushing the complete lie that I am running for president in 2028. Let’s be clear: I am not running for president in 2028,” Kennedy said.
Kennedy competed for the presidency in 2024, first as a Democrat and later as independence, suspending his candidacy last August, throwing his support behind Trump. After the election, Trump made him the HHS secretary.
His comments, which ruled out the 2028 bid, accused Kennedy’s aide Stephanie Spear of using her position at the HHS to lay the foundation for Kennedy to run again.
Rumer’s comments came in an interview with Politico, and following the Axios report in July, Kennedy’s super PAC head Tony Lions and Spear called out Maha supporters, leaving the impression that participants were pondering another campaign.
But in his social media post, Kennedy said, “The President answered 20 years of prayer that God would put me in a position to end the chronic disease epidemic.
