- Hunter Biden has allegedly denied that Jeffrey Epstein has introduced Donald and Melania Trump.
- Melania Trump threatened to sue Hunter Biden if he didn’t retract his claims.
- Trump claims he met his husband in a New York City nightclub in 1998.
The sons of First Lady Melania Trump and former President Joe Biden have rebutted different accounts of how she met Donald Trump.
In an interview with YouTube published on August 5, Hunter Biden said that Jeffrey Epstein, who has been shaking the Trump administration for several weeks, introduced Donald Trump to the woman who will become his third wife.
The First Lady on August 6 threatened to sue him for more than $1 billion if he didn’t retract his claim, and Biden said in a follow-up video, “F —. That won’t happen.”
Biden, the second video released on August 14, said pointing to 2019 news reports, claiming that Epstein introduced the couple.
But Melania Trump’s explanation of how they met returns to a September 1998 meeting at a New York City nightclub. Here’s how she says she met her husband before his political rise:
The “Melania” excerpt tells her story: “Hello, I’m Donald Trump.”
The First Lady posted an excerpt from her memoir “Melania” on social media in July, telling the story of how she just met her husband.
Chapter 5: “Hello, I’m Donald Trump.”
On a Friday night in September 1998, after a whirlwind trip to Paris, my phone rang as I settled in the comforts of my New York City apartment. It was my friend.
“My boyfriend is having a party at Kit Kat Klub tomorrow night,” she said. “Come on. We haven’t seen each other in a long time.”
“I’ve just returned from Paris,” I said.
“Please, it’s going to be fun. There are a lot of people out there. We’ll come and pick you up.”
I loved the idea that my weekend was about to be filled with a friend’s company while I was tired and hanging out the pier.
I have always chosen to spend my time and where to put my energy. Late night parties at the club weren’t my number one choice on a Saturday night. I preferred to stay, watch movies and go out for dinner with close friends. I didn’t move away from social gatherings, but the club wasn’t my tea.
Anyway, I accepted the invitation. After all, it was Fashion Week – a time of charm and refinement. I actually looked forward to mixing with insiders and trendsetters in the industry.
As my friend walked into the refined black limousine that had arrived, I felt like a celebrity on my way to the gala. Once we arrived at Kit Kat Klub, the energy and dazzling light of the crowd greeted us. Inside, a dark, crowded space squealed at this fashion week on Saturday night. I settled on the second floor of the table in the VIP section. There, the atmosphere was one of the refined friendships. Some guests danced, while others engaged in lively conversations and we all enjoyed ourselves.
I saw my friend shaking waves at someone behind me. As I turned around, I noticed a man and an attractive blonde woman approaching us.
“Hello, I’m Donald Trump,” the man said as he reached my table. “Nice to meet you.” I recognized the name and although I knew he was a businessman or a celebrity, it wasn’t anything else. He put his hands on it to shake mine.
“Hello,” he replied. “I’m Melania.”
His eyes were filled with curiosity and interest, and seized the opportunity and he sat next to me and began a conversation. He asked me about my time in New York, my Slovenian home, and my world traveled. It was a moment of connection and a short encounter that left a lasting impression. It was good to have a new acquaintance.
He was accompanied by a beautiful date, so I first dismissed our conversation as mere pleasure exchanged at an industry event. The music is loud, the crowds are loud, making it difficult to really connect with someone.
From the moment our conversation began, I was captivated by his charm and carefree nature. There was so much lively activity around us, but his intentions focused on our interactions and I felt like the heart of his world. It was a refreshing start from the usual superficial little story, and I found myself drawn to his magnetic energy.
What did Hunter Biden say about Melania Trump?
Hunter Biden said Epstein introduced President Donald Trump and Melania Trump.
Appearing on YouTube Show Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan, Biden gave a lengthy interview in addition to Epstein, where he discussed his father’s unhappy debate performances and other topics.
“They spent a huge amount of time together,” Biden said of the president and Epstein in an interview with Callahan. “That’s how Melania and the First Lady met the president. Yeah, according to Michael Wolf,” he said, referring to the authors of several Trump books.
His relationship with Trump with Epstein, which he socially knew, drove him out since his first term. In 2019, Trump said he “falls out” with Epstein, which he described as a “palm beach fixture” in the mid-2000s. Their connections returned to the spotlight when Tesla CEO Elon Musk joined Trump with Epstein during their feud.
Biden went back to 2019 and reported that “sources said that Jeffrey Epstein claimed he was the person who introduced Donald Trump to Melania at the time.”
Melania Trump threatens legal action against Biden’s claims
On August 6, the First Lady threatened to sue Biden for more than $1 billion if he didn’t withdraw his claim.
A legal notice by First Lady’s lawyer, Alejandro Burrito, requires Biden to “quickly withdraw any false, honourable, merciless, inflammatory statements made about Mrs. Trump.”
Donald Trump said he encouraged his wife to take legal action against Biden.
“Jeffrey Epstein had nothing to do with Melania,” Trump said in August. 14, he is currently interviewing Fox Radio’s Brian Killmead. “But they did that and I told her to go ahead and do it. She was very mad about it.”
Other outlets received notice from Melania Trump’s attorneys about similar claims and issued an apology and withdrawal. But Biden doesn’t seem ready to step back.
“I don’t think these threats in the lawsuit lead to anything other than the designed distraction, as they are not who introduced who to whom,” Biden said. “I don’t know how it can rise to the level of honor loss from the start.”
