Are there any changes to the drive?

The Trophy Edition’s mudflaps make some hard scraping noises on the ground during extreme articulation events, but otherwise this Defender goes just fine wherever you point it without any drama. That said, OCTA’s trick 6D Dynamics suspension is much more supple and comfortable than the regular Defender when driving at low speeds. This isn’t just because the OCTA has longer wheel travel and better articulation. A version of the 6D suspension setup, featuring diagonally cross-linked shocks with individual comfort, jounce and rebound valving, allowing each wheel to be independently decoupled in real time, is currently in development for the regular Defender lineup.
Prices for the Defender OCTA start at $160,150 and the Threat Defender OCTA Black sticker costs $170,550. Pricing for the Defender 110 Trophy Edition starts at $89,250.
