In a Jan. 22 recall notice posted by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Boston-based distributor Thrasio recalled Angry Orange Enzyme Stain Removers due to potential exposure to bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is described as “an environmental microorganism widely found in soil and water.”
According to the CPSC and the Angry Orange brand, an estimated 1.5 million bottles may be affected by this issue, as well as approximately 43,700 bottles sold in Canada. The recall number is 26-201.
